For the first time in eight weeks, ABC's World News with Charles Gibson eclipsed NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams for first place in both total viewers and the A25-54 demo. World News was up almost 600,000 in total viewers from last week; both NBC and ABC added viewers week-to-week. In the demo, all three networks were up. This was the highest rated week for World News in both categories since the week of February 12, 2007.
