Here's welcome news for the broadcasters: week-to-week, the three evening newscasts saw an increase in both Total Viewers and younger viewers -- 800,000 more Total Viewers across the three broadcasts than the prior week. NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams was #1 again, in both categories.

ABC coded Wednesday's broadcast differently since World News only had 87% coverage due to the President's news conference. The NBC (91%) and CBS (92%) broadcasts are included in the average.
