More than 8.9 million viewers tuned in to watch “Farrah’s Story” last night from 9-11pm on NBC – giving NBC its best Friday in Total Viewers and A18-49 viewers [excluding Olympics] since March 28, 2008. This is according to preliminary live+same day fast affiliate ratings from Nielsen Media Research.
The documentary won its time period last night in the two younger demos: A18-49 and A25-54.
“Farrah’s Story” chronicled Farrah Fawcett‘s two and a half year battle with cancer shot with her own video camera. The special included intimate footage of Farrah and her family, her treatments in the U.S. and Germany and her battles with the National Enquirer.
