FBN Ratings: Two Demo Wins, But Nothing To Celebrate

FBN_4.21.jpg

Exclusive: TVNewser has learned Fox Business Network has shown some signs of life, recently. The network’s 8pmET offering, The Dave Ramsey Show, has topped business news competitor CNBC twice in the A25-54 demo. Ramsey topped a Fast Money re-air on March 26 (41K v. 28K) and beat High Net Worth on April 11 (52K v. 38K). Granted, this is only two hours of FBN’s approximately 2,200 hours of programming since launch on Oct. 15, but it comes despite CNBC’s 55 million household advantage. The CNBC programs topped Ramsey in Total Viewers on those nights.

TVNewser was given access to the data as part of our examination of the six-month-old network’s ratings (more on that in our next post). We’ve learned FBN is not exactly celebrating the wins as the channel still does not trust the accuracy of the Nielsen data.
