FiOS TV to Add MSNBC to Lineup

ICN reports MSNBC will now be added to Verizon FiOS TV throughout the New York metropolitan area. Verizon competitor Time Warner Cable had been running ads that pointed out MSNBC wasn’t available on the service. Phil Griffin, President, MSNBC, said in a press release, “Launching on Verizon FiOS TV in the broader New York area could not come at a better time. MSNBC has established itself as ‘The Place for Politics,’ achieving historic ratings success, and we look forward to being widely available in the nation’s No. 1 TV market.”
