FNC Promotes David Rhodes To VP For News & Jay Wallace To EP For News

Fox News Channel has promoted David Rhodes to vice president for news and Jay Wallace to executive producer for news.

“I am tired of trying to think up new superlatives to describe David,” John Moody wrote in a memo today. “Let me just say his keen mind, tireless efforts and strategic vision are not often seen in someone of his years. David now has the authority to make any news decisions in my absence (or, come to think of it, in my presence).”

Moody said Wallace will work with Rhodes to “make our on-air product faster, fresher, and better looking.” He added: “Jay’s work on Studio B and Fox Report have made him one of the most respected employees in the newsroom. He will continue to oversee those shows, while extending his authority to news content across the network.”
