FNC Scoops Woodward’s Paper on Woodward’s Book
The Huffington Post’s Greg Mitchell writes about Foxnews.com’s scoop this afternoon of Bob Woodward‘s upcoming new book (the fourth in the series) about the Bush administration.
FNC’s new Washington deputy managing editor Bill Sammon published a story with excerpts of the upcoming book on Foxnews.com. Included was the line from Sen. John McCain that got major play (and a Drudge link): “Everything is f—ing spin.”
Shortly thereafter, in what Mitchell called, “obviously in the can,” The Washington Post’s Steve Luxenberg published an article detailing even more aspects of the book.
The possible embargo wasn’t broken by too many days — “The War Within,” hits the shelves September 8.
