People Are Depressed & Disillusioned, & That's Why They Aren't Watching Cable News?
Shep Smith understands why FNC's ratings are down. He tells the Kansas City Star:
"This war in Iraq is a mess, bordering on a disaster. People are depressed, they're confused, disillusioned in many cases by what's happening in this country right now. And they don't want to see it every day... So they're not watching as much. They're not watching our competition as much, either."
