Well this is anti-climactic: Bill Hemmer will debut as a Fox News Live anchor on Monday, August 29, the network announced today. (For some strange reason, FNC's media relations department leaked the news to ICN, even the blog's traffic is paltry.)

Unsurprisingly, Hemmer will anchor the noon hour recently vacated by David Asman. Hemmer will provide "coverage of the day's leading and breaking news, as well as interviewing key players," according to his hometown paper. TV Week also picked up on the announcement...
