FNC’s First Wireless Venture: Deal With Sprint Streams Fox News To Cell Phones

Beginning today, Sprint customers can access a live stream of the Fox News Channel on their PCS Vision Multimedia phones. The announcement “marks FNC’s first foray into providing wireless content,” today’s press release says.

“This deal positions FOX News Channel to become a significant player in the wireless industry and is a great opportunity to expand the brand and reach our loyal audience outside their homes,” said Jeremy Steinberg, FNC’s director of digital media. The video comes in at 15 frames per second.
