FNC’s Shep Smith Adds 5pm Five-Minute Radio Newscast To His Daily Schedule

“Shepard Smith will anchor a signature five-minute newscast, The FOX Report with Shepard Smith, on FOX News Radio beginning Monday, September 26th,” the network announced today. The newscast will wrap up the day’s events when it airs at 5pm ET each day.

“I’m excited to contribute to another platform of the FOX News brand,” Smith said in a press release. “Radio is a fascinating medium and I’m eager to embark on this new opportunity.” Kevin Magee added: “He is a star anchor and reporter and listeners will now be able to hear his familiar voice on both television and radio.”
