FNC’s Shine: “All About The Goal”
“I’m all about the goal,” FNC senior VP for programming Bill Shine tells Newsday today. “If the goal is to beat a certain show, let’s sit down and figure out a way to beat that show.” Other highlights: 
> In coverage of the death of Pope John Paul II and the Terri Schiavo case, “we may have overdone it a little bit,” Shine says.
> “‘The first four or five years on the air, we always had openings, because people didn’t want to work here,’ Shine says. Now there are no openings.”
