For 2nd Straight Week, CBS Evening News Ties Lowest Viewership Ever

Last week, the CBS Evening News averaged 4.89 million Total Viewers, tying the previous week’s viewership, which had tied an all-time low for the broadcast set last summer. The show did tick up a bit in the demo averaging 1.49 million viewers to the previous week’s 1.44M. Last week’s broadcast saw a rotating cast of anchors: Katie Couric on Monday, Harry Smith Tuesday, Jeff Glor on Wednesday and Erica Hill on Thursday and Friday.
