Ford and Scarborough — “Dear, Dear Friends”

fordjr_3-26.jpgThis morning marked new NBC/MSNBC analyst Harold Ford, Jr.‘s first appearance on Morning Joe.

Co-anchor Joe Scarborough brought up his time in congress with Ford, and how the pair “transcended politics,” as they sat on opposite sides of the aisle.

“They tried to keep Harold and I apart because he would walk over to me and we were on some committees together and he said, ‘I’ve got this bill what do you think,’ and I’d read the bill and say, ‘that’s a good bill.’ ‘Will you sign it?’ I’m like, ‘yeah sure,’” Scarborough said. “That’s not the way you’re supposed to do it! And the people running the committee and the party would be enraged.”
