Former CNNer Dornin Named SVP of Journalist-Expert Link-up Firm
Longtime CNN correspondent Rusty Dornin, who left the network at the end of the year, is back in the business. Sort of.
TVNewser has learned Dornin has been named senior vice president of NewsCertified Exchange, a Website that links journalists with subject matter experts.
The site boasts that it was “founded by journalists with decades of experience – and thousands of contacts…The idea has been enthusiastically endorsed by journalists at all levels.”
What makes NewsCertified.com different than a PR firm? “A patent-stamped process,” they claim. The data base is still in a testing phase and is allowing some journalists to test drive it.
