Former Fox News Producer Sentenced to 10 Years in Child Porn Case
Former Fox News producer Aaron Bruns has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for possession of child pornography.
Authorities arrested Bruns in February after investigators said he had been sharing pornography on a social networking Web site. Bruns pleaded guilty in May to possession of child pornography.
The AP reports Bruns was sentenced earlier today in U.S. District Court in Washington. Prosecutors had recommended the 10-year term, citing Bruns’ prior conviction on similar charges.
Bruns had been with FNC for more than six years. He was an embed producer with the Hillary Clinton campaign last year and worked on other assignments from the DC bureau. He was fired three days after his arrest.
