Frank Kavilanz Joins NBC from ABC

ABC News executive Frank Kavilanz is jumping to NBC News, where he will be the vice president of strategy and partnership, NBC announced yesterday.

Kavilanz has been with ABC since 2007 in a variety of roles, most recently as the director of business development at ABC News Digital. At NBC, he will develop and execute strategy for distribution initiatives, product development, digital rights and content partnerships.

In his new role, which begins in mid-April, he will report to chief digital officer Vivian Schiller.
