GMA Raises 150,000+ Pounds of Food Donations
Last week on ABC’s Good Morning America, donations from various food companies brought in 152,669 pounds of food donations this week to go to food pantries around the country.
The donations were part of GMA’s $15 Dinner Dare series, featuring chefs Mario Batali, Emeril Lagasse, Cat Cora and Wolfgang Puck, in which the chefs created dinners from a surprise bag of groceries live during the broadcast.
Donations came from A&P and Shoprite supermarkets, Goya, Dole, Lagasse, Puck and Tyson Foods.
