Following in the footsteps of NBC’s “Meet the Press” and Fox’s “Fox News Sunday,” FNC “On the Record” host Greta Van Susteren is extending an open invitation to President Obama to appear on her primetime program.

Obama is guesting on “The Tonight Show” this week, and interview excerpts will air on “Nightly News,” “Today and “Rock Center.”

Of course I would like to interview him, and of course he is not obliged to do so — but I would hope that he would want to reach out to the Fox audience. Not every Fox audience member has made up his or her mind…and he does represent everybody so why not give Fox (me) an interview? The door is always open to him…any time, any place.
