Gretchen Carlson on parody: ‘Thank you, ‘SNL’ for saying that we mean something in this business’

The “Fox & Friends” crew (minus Steve Doocy who wasn’t in today) reacted to the SNL send-up they got Saturday night.

Brian Kilmeade, at seeing himself parodied by a plumper Bobby Moynihan, said “When I watched this, I really went jogging and it wasn’t even me.”

Gretchen Carlson marveled at the likeness of the SNL version of their set: “Look at that white sofa. Maybe we could get that white sofa. That was the only difference between our set, otherwise they did get the set down perfectly.”

“Thank you, ‘SNL’ for saying that we mean something in this business after being #1 all this time, why not do a skit on us?” said Carlson. “I would like to counter your ‘thank you,’ with ‘go back to ignoring us,” said Kilmeade.

If you missed it, see the skit after the jump…
