“Half Hour News Hour” Debuts Feb. 18

Fox News Channel’s “conservative satirical treatment of the week’s news” is scheduled to premiere on Saturday, Feb. 18. That news nugget is included in The New Yorker’s profile of 24 and its co-creator Joel Surnow.

Surnow has been planning “The Half Hour News Hour” for months, according to the story. “Surnow sees the show as offering a counterpoint to the liberal slant of ‘The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.’”

By the way, tipster says the show has been renamed, but that’s unconfirmed…
