Hannity Has Big Week Too
While much of the ratings attention this week has revolved around Bill O’Reilly and Fox News’ overall numbers, Sean Hannity has quietly — well, quietly for him — had one of his best weeks this year.
Monday night, Hannity had 932K viewers in the A25-54 demo (3.12M Total Viewers), and Tuesday night, followed up with 887K A25-54 viewers (2.87M Total). Those are his top two showings in the demo for the year.
On both nights, he was the number two program on all of cable news in both categories (to O’Reilly), and he was the only other cable news program to draw over 3 million Total Viewers. Not only that, but Hannity also beat the return of ABC’s struggling “Better off Ted” in Total Viewers.
Sure, it helps to have a lead-in audience from Bill O’Reilly (O’Reilly could lead into the North Korean color bars and give it a ratings boost), but setting personal bests with numbers like that in August is uncommon.
