Harry Tells Katie: “In The End, The Audience Will Come Around”
Harry Smith is, of course, a big Katie Couric supporter. He tells the Orlando Sentinel:
“There is still a lot of support for her. I personally want to see her succeed. I think she’s good at what she does. She has worked really hard to see this thing succeed. She has been buffeted by criticism: ‘You’re changing it too much. You’re not changing it enough.’ … She can’t catch a break. I just saw her in the last week or so, and I said, ‘Keep doing the news, stay true to yourself, stay the course.’ I think, in the end, the audience will come around.”
