Earlier today I asked: “Is it now fair to say that CNN Headline News is the #3 cable news net?” This evening the AP’s David Bauder answered: “CNN Headline News has supplanted MSNBC as the third-place cable news channel.” Bauder notes that “the numbers are relatively miniscule…but they’re important for perception and for the business of television news.”
