HLN’s Velez-Mitchell, FNC’s Friel Among Those Vying to Be ‘New York’s Funniest Reporter’
Tomorrow evening, journalists, comedians and everyone in-between will converge on the Comic Strip Live in New York for the 6th annual “New York’s Funniest Reporter” competition. There are some familiar names in this year’s lineup.
HLN anchor Jane Velez-Mitchell will try her hand at stand-up comedy, as will Fox News Channel’s Courtney Friel, FBN’s Adam Shapiro and “Nancy Grace” producer Marlaina Schiavo.
Last year’s champion, FNC’s Lauren Sivan, will not be participating.
Benefits from the event will go the Humane Society of New York.
