How did the TV Newsers do in their races?

Chris Matthews may have sat out this election. But a couple of local TV news anchors lost their races for Congress yesterday. Harold Johnson, a former sportscaster for a Charlotte TV station WSOC lost his race against incumbent, Democrat Rep. Larry Kissell. And in Connecticut, Republican Janet Peckinpaugh, a former anchor at NBC30 in Hartford, lost her race to incumbent Rep. Joe Courtney by more than 20 percentage points. But a castmember of “The Real World: Boston” won his race for Congress.
