If Diane Dimond Was Such A “Tremendous Asset,” Why Didn’t Court TV Keep Her?

As TVNewser first reported on Sunday night, Diane Dimond and Court TV have gone their separate ways. The AP has a statement from the network: “Dimond is a respected journalist who has been a tremendous asset to Court TV News and was key to the network’s successful coverage of the Michael Jackson trial.”

So, Lloyd Grove wonders, “why didn’t they keep her?” (And I wonder: Who will pick her up?)
