Some of you have asked about the status of Fox Business Network’s Happy Hour. The 5pmET show has been put on the [top] shelf some days because, well, these hours and days aren’t so happy. An FBN spokesperson tells TVNewser, Happy Hour has been “preempted from time to time to cover breaking news of the financial crisis.”

The show is on the schedule today, but depending on what the markets do this afternoon it could be preempted again. Happy Hour airs live from the Bull & Bear pub at New York’s Waldorf Astoria hotel.

Hosts Cody Willard and Rebecca Gomez have been appearing on other FBN shows on the days Happy Hour is preempted.
