IS NBC Cooking Up a Roker Show For The Weather Channel?

Earlier this week, a TVNewser tipster sent us the following summary in a News: VIPs survey. News: VIPs surveys are conducted by a company called Vision Critical which provides targeted research to clients:

“This proposed show would be hosted by The Today Show’s Al Roker. The show would provide full coverage of the day’s weather stories and other special stories and segments related to weather. The show would also have comprehensive national forecasts and travel advisories, as well as regular weather updates for your local area.”

“Overall, how likely would you be to watch this proposed show hosted by Al Roker at least once a week?”

Then several choices were given. Sounds like NBC may be considering using their big weather talent on their big weather purchase: The Weather Channel. We’ll let you know what happens.
