Jake Tapper Tops Tyndall’s “Most Heavily-Used Reporters” List

Jake Tapper.jpg ABC News Senior National/Senior Political Correspondent Jake Tapper ranks #1 on the “Top 20 Most Heavily-Used Reporters” list, part of the 2007 Tyndall Year in Review from the Tyndall Report. It means that last year, he was on-air for more minutes (231) than any of his fellow network correspondents (anchors are excluded from consideration). Coming in at #2 is NBC’s David Gregory (230 minutes), with fellow NBCer Andrea Mitchell third (220), followed by CBS’ David Martin (217).

“I attribute Mr. Tyndall’s finding to the fact that it’s been such a huge political year,” he tells Felix Gillette of the New York Observer. “The bottom line is that I am a political geek.”
