Jimmy Kimmel Gifts Cookies to ‘This Week’ Staff
On Monday we reported that ABC late night host Jimmy Kimmel sent new “This Week” host Christiane Amanpour and her staff boxes of pizza as a welcome gift.
It turned out it was NBC’s Jimmy Fallon that sent the pizzas, not Kimmel. Kimmel, not one to let a competitor steal his thunder, has made it up to the “This Week”-ers.
Amanpour just tweeted that the “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” staff sent over boxes of cookies to the “This Week” offices, attaching the above photo.
Kimmel also attached a note to the cookies: “Christiane, Pizza Shmizza – I send cookies! Welcome to the wonderful world of Disney. Jimmy (Kimmel).”
Maybe he will get more jokes on the “Sunday funnies” segment after all.
