Juju Likes the Idea of Conan at ABC

“I like the idea of him coming to ABC and working with us,” said new “Good Morning America” newsreader Juju Chang today during a report about Conan O’Brien‘s future.

There’s some uncertainty about whether O’Brien will stay at NBC or head to another network, but, as we reported yesterday, ABC says it’s sticking with the news show it already has.

“Don’t tell the people at ‘Nightline,’” George Stephanopoulos replied, laughing.

Chang quickly tried to clarify: “No, no, no! I take that back! I mean, as a day — you know, contributor to ‘Good Morning America.’ That’s what I meant.” Probably get some ribbing in the ABC News hallway for that one.
