Katrina: 5.8 Mil MSNBC.com Video Streams

Cable news Web sites are experiencing a surge of traffic today. MSNBC.com’s video coverage, including both live streams from NBC and on-demand clips, is on pace to break all of the site’s records, according to the site. As of 3pm ET, more than 5.8 million videos have been played on the site, including 1.3 million live streams. The current site traffic is more than double an average day for MSNBC.com…
