Katrina: Nightly News Expands To 60 Min.

The NBC Nightly News “will expand to one hour tonight with Brian [Williams] continuing to anchor coverage from New Orleans,” the Daily Nightly says.

> “I am very reluctant to discuss our existence or any hardships…for reasons I hope are painfully obvious,” BW blogs. “We are thankful for what we have by way of shelter, food and liquids…and even after covering the tsunami in Banda Aceh, Indonesia, I struggle daily, with everyone else, to describe the deep hold this crisis has on all of us.”
