Kneale to Gasparino: “Show Some Class, Charlie”

Two days after his heated exchange with Betsy McCaughey Ross, Charlie Gasparino again caused some jaws to drop as he battled with CNBC media and technology editor Dennis Kneale on Squawk Box. The topic — once again, the Eliot Spitzer scandal.

It started with a mild argument involving how much Spitzer’s father is worth in real estate, with Kneale saying, “Don’t let the facts get in the way of a good story.”

But then Gasparino asked Kneale, “You’re not Client #1, are you?” A few seconds of silence, one audible gasp from the studio, and then — an uncomfortable minute of two CNBC personalities in a major blow-up.
