Lara Logan Gives Birth To Baby Boy

FishbowlDC reports CBS News’ Lara Logan gave birth to a baby boy, Joseph Washington Burkett V, on December 29.

Logan met the father, Joseph Burkett, in 2007 in Iraq. At the time he and Logan were separated from their spouses, and they married late last year.

She told Howard Kurtz in July she was “looking forward to being a mom.”

Logan was named chief foreign affairs correspondent for CBS News in June, and will be based out of Washington, D.C.
