Larry King, Anderson Cooper Draw Lowest Ratings of ’09
The night before the 2009 elections, CNN’s prime time line-up continued their ratings troubles seen in October.
On Monday night, Larry King and Anderson Cooper saw their lowest Total Viewer ratings for 2009. King drew 450,000 viewers at 9pmET, while “AC360″ drew 396,000 and 296,000 viewers at 10pm and 11pmET, respectively.
At 10pmET, Cooper’s program was in fourth place, behind FNC’s “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren” (1,462,000) and replays of MSNBC’s “Countdown with Keith Olbermann” (561,000) and HLN’s “Nancy Grace” (413,000).
The airings were not the lowest in A25-54 demo viewers and “AC360″ is tracking its second-best year ever in Total Viewers and in the demo.
