Larry King to Sean Hannity: ‘If I love my broadcasting business, why would I want people not to do well?’
Former CNN 9 PM host Larry King appeared on his former competitor’s show last night. King spoke to Fox News Channel’s Sean Hannity about his friend Elizabeth Taylor, and about leaving CNN.
Hannity also mentioned that despite going head-to-head for so many years, they never were particularly antagonistic toward one another:
“Yes, I guess it is. I never believed in that. I always believed, as an interviewer, it was my role to be a conduit to the public. I never wanted anyone to fail. I like — you know, I like my business. If I like my business, if I love my broadcasting business, why would I want people not to do well?
King also appeared on “Piers Morgan Tonight” to talk about Taylor. Video of that appearance is after the jump.
