Leak: Anchors Await Indictment News

“We will go on the air immediately once we get confirmation that the indictments have been handed down,” an internal CBS message says. “In this instance, we will probably not be able to give you more than a 30 second warning that we are going on the air…We will provide a ten second countdown. Bob Schieffer will anchor this report from New York.”

As CNN’s Kathleen Koch left the courtroom, she called Wolf Blitzer and said that the indictments had been “handed up.” The camera followed her as she walked out of the courthouse to the live shot position.
