Logan, Just Back From Iraq, To The Daily Show

CBS chief foreign correspondent Lara Logan appeared for the first time on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and, unlike many Daily Show interviews, we can’t really put this one in the “Funny” category.

How does she work to get war-related stories on the air? “Generally what I say is I’m holding the armor-piercing RPG, it’s aimed at the bureau chief, and if you don’t put my story on the air I’m going to pull the trigger.”

What does she think of the American news media? “If I were to watch the news that you hear in the United States I’d just blow my brains out because it would drive me nuts.”
