Megyn Kelly to Kirsten Powers: ‘With Respect, You Don’t Seem to Know What You’re Talking About’
Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly got into a heated argument this afternoon with NY Post columnist and Fox News contributor Kirsten Powers, who was brought on to discuss the Black Panther voter intimidation scandal.
The two immediately disagreed on the issue, with Kelly soon claiming, “You clearly don’t know what you’re talking about.” There were accusations of words being twisted and/or put-into other people’s mouths. Powers argued, “Because I don’t agree with you, I don’t know anything?” The cross-talk became so overwhelming that Kelly at one point warned, “Don’t make me cut your mic.”
“It’s going to be more helpful to the viewers if the next time you come on you have your facts,” Kelly said at the end of the segment. “I’m sorry that because someone disagrees with you, they ‘don’t have the facts,’” Powers responded, to which Kelly came back with, “You can disagree all you want, as long as you get your facts right. Which you don’t.”
