Michigan Primary: Polls Close, Nets Call It
MSNBC, CNN and Fox News Channel all called the Michigan GOP primary for Mitt Romney just as the polls closed at 9pmET.
• Keith Olbermann signed off on Countdown, called the primary for Romney, then handed off to Brian Williams and the Nevada Democratic debate.
• Wolf Blitzer called it on CNN, just before handing off to Larry King (notice the Larry King Live branding of the hour).
• Brit Hume called it for Romney as hour two of FNC’s coverage of the Michigan Primary got underway.
>More from an emailer: CBS gave an update at the bottom of the screen, calling the MI primary for Romney. ABC broke in with a special report by Charlie Gibson.
