Molly Levinson Leaves CBS News

A TVNewser tipster tells us, and CBS News confirms that Molly Levinson is leaving the network. She has been CBS’ political director since August, 2006. Before that, Levinson was at CNN. A CBS insider tells us Levinson recently gave birth to her first child and is choosing to spend more time being a new mom. When asked about this being a crucial time with the election just a year away, the insider told me “we’re in pretty good hands politically until a new person is named.”
