Morgado Becomes ‘Today’ Supervising Prod.

“I am pleased to announce that Javier Morgado is joining Today as a Supervising Producer. Javi will oversee assignments and Today news,” Jim Bell said in a memo on Saturday.

He got his start in Miami, then joined the network in 2001. Bell says he “has worked in many roles on the Netdesk where he was most recently named Senior Editor in 2004, managing & coordinating daily news coverage for NBC News and its various entities. He has also been Today’s news producer on the desk, a position that now returns to the show.”
