The Today show continues as the #1 morning news program, but year-to-year, it shed more than 400,000 total viewers. #2 GMA trailed Today by more than 300,000 viewers last week. Also worth noting that #3 The Early Show is up 13% year-to-year in the 25-54 demo.

For the week of August 20:

Total viewers: NBC: 4,934,000 / ABC: 4,627,000 / CBS: 2,502,000

Households: NBC: 3.9/15 / ABC: 3.6/14 / CBS: 2.0/8

25-54 demo: NBC: 2.0/15 / ABC: 1.6/12 / CBS: 0.9/7
