Morning Show Ratings: Week of December 3

“Good Morning America” on ABC was once again the top network morning program in both total viewers and the key adults 25-54 demo the week of December 3. As usual, it was tight between “GMA” and NBC’s ‘Today”, particularly in the demo, but ABC continues to hold on to the number one spot.

Compared to the same week last year, “CBS This Morning” and “Today” were down double digits, while “GMA” was up slightly.

Compared to season to date average, “Today” has gained about 137,000 viewers, while CBS and ABC have both lost viewers. That number is a positive one for the NBC morning program, indicating that it has been gaining ground in the past few months.

The averages for the week of December 3, 2012:

  • Total Viewers: ABC: 5.017M / NBC: 4.683M / CBS: 2.484M
