Morning Show Ratings: Week of January 14

ABC’s “Good Morning America” continues to top NBC’s “Today” by a healthy margin in total viewers last week, but the NBC morning show topped its ABC competitor for the third straight week in the key adults 25-54 demo. It was the first time NBC topped ABC in the demo for three straight weeks since the Olympics last year.

Compared to the same week last year, “GMA” was the only morning show to grow in total and demo viewers, with “Today” down double-digits and CBS “CBS This Morning” improving in total viewers, and down slightly in the demo.

Season to date, both “Today” and “GMA” were up slightly.

The averages for the week of January 14, 2013:

  • Total Viewers: ABC: 5.242M / NBC: 4.741M / CBS: 2.746M
  • A25-54 viewers: ABC: 1.982M / NBC: 2.036M / CBS: 1.050M
