Morning Show Ratings: Week of June 6
Meredith Viera‘s final week as “Today” show co-anchor brought another win for the NBC morning show with a 1 million+ Total Viewer lead on #2 “Good Morning America.” On Vieira’s final day, “Today” topped “GMA” by more than 1.5 million Total Viewers.
Compared to the same week last year, “Today” and “GMA” are up while CBS’ “The Early Show” lost viewers.
“GMA” is putting up its biggest Total Viewer numbers in four years — since the 2006-2007 season. Season to date, “GMA” is up the most among the network morning news shows in Total Viewers (+9%) vs. the year-ago average. Both “Today” and “Early” are up +1%.
The averages for the week of June 6:
- Total Viewers: NBC: 5.59M / ABC: 4.54M / CBS: 2.20M
- A25-54 viewers: NBC: 2.47M / ABC: 1.76M / CBS: 867K
