Morning Show Ratings: Week of Mar. 17

NBC’s Today show was again the top network morning show last week, posting a victory of more than 1 million viewers over second-place Good Morning America.

NBC and CBS’ The Early Show saw slight week-to-week drops in Total Viewers, while ABC’s Good Morning America stayed at last week’s levels. It was again the lowest Total Viewer average for all three networks in 2008.

On Friday, the 9am hour of Today delivered 4,700,000 Total Viewers, its highest single-day delivery for a “non-holiday” since February 14, 2007 (an unofficial holiday).

For the week of March 10:

Total Viewers: NBC: 5,600,000 / ABC: 4,400,000 / CBS: 2,700,000

Household rating/share: NBC: 4.3/15 / ABC: 3.4/12 / CBS: 2.1/7

A25-54 Demo: NBC: 2,200,000 / ABC: 1,700,000 / CBS: 1,100,000
