Morning Show Ratings: Week of May 30
On Meredith Viera‘s final full week as “Today” show co-anchor, NBC continued its reign as the number one morning show, leading ABC’s “Good Morning America” by more than 600,000 total viewers.
Year-over-year, “Today” and “GMA” both experienced growth, with “GMA” up the most, +10%. “GMA” is seeing its largest total viewer audience in four years.
With 3.3 million total viewers, the third hour of “Today,” on at 9am in most markets and which saw the addition of Savannah Guthrie this week, topped “The Early Show” in Total viewers (+35%) and the A25-54 demo +(25%).
The averages for the week of May 30:
- Total Viewers: NBC: 5.27M / ABC: 4.62M / CBS: 2.45M
- A25-54 viewers: NBC: 2.41M / ABC: 1.79M / CBS: 945K
